Honorary President’s note

Welcome to all aviation amateurs and fiends!

It is with great pleasure that I accepted the honorary presidency of this second edition of the Virtual Aviation Specialty Show, presented by the Association des aviateurs et pilotes de brousse du Québec. Like me, visitors will enjoy this Saturday to familiarize themselves with new aviation simulator technologies.

It is always impressive to observe the quality and realistic images produced by simulation software intended for general public, such as Flight Simulator. This technology will no doubt become increasingly important in the next few years for all pilots. The increased operating and training costs and new legislation will contribute to the fast development of simulators. I hope that this kind of event will encourage more people to consider a career as airline pilots!

Congratulations to the A.P.B.Q. and its volunteers for the planning of this specialty show, unique not only in Quebec, but also in Canada!
